12th May 2015 - Walk around Barbican

The Barbican is a very unique part of Plymouth, having been one of the few places in Plymouth to survive the bombing during World War II. Situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre the Barbican has a tranquil and peaceful vibe to it. Filled with the old style victorian buildings and its traditional shops there is a quirky charm to the place. Even through the small back alleys you see local stops and gallerys its as if you are being time warped back to the past. On a personal note it is a great place to capture some stunning photos in this historical part of Plymouth, throughout each  path I took I always found there was something new to see each time and something new to capture. Being a big fan of street urban and architectural photography it only made sense for me to delve in deeper into this wonderful area capturing what I believe is the heart and soul of Plymouth
